Seacology announces that Mr. Kokichi Kariya has been awarded the 2007 Seacology Prize for his work saving ancient forests on Honshu Island, Japan.

Congratulations, Mr. Kariya. You are an inspiration.

The Seacology Prize is underwritten by Ken Murdock, president of Seacology, in honor of his mother, Lalovi Fish Murdock. (emphasis mine)
